Based in our Nilai, Negeri Sembilan location; you will ensure smooth Assembly operations by providing technical support to operations team including ME, QA, machining, and welding functions. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support company goals, policies, and objectives.
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing in the areas of assembly, customer service, planning, IPM, and quality control.
- Work closely in a team to interpret corporate documentation and other reference materials to determine manufacturing requirements and processing procedures on new or revised part numbers.
- Build product structures (BOM) and routing in Oracle.
- Ensure engineering drawings are updated/revised timely.
- Resolve/troubleshoot manufacturing/assembly problems encountered on the shop floor.
- Provide engineering support for new product introduction including equipment setup and training for assemblers.
- Develop necessary work procedures and provide or coordinate training for operators and supervisors.
- Attend CSN calls with QA and customers when required.
- Support safety KPI within department and plant level.
- Work in a team environment to meet production and project-related goals and cost objectives.

You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; are outstanding at spotting and seizing opportunities. You build immediate rapport, even when facing difficult or tense situations. You actively listen and check for understanding. You continually scan the environment for technology breakthroughs.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar manufacturing environment with the ability to evaluate and execute the requirements on manufacturing documentation and procedure development.
- Exhibit drafting application skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of material characteristics and ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering source documents.
- Experience in a mechanical assembly manufacturing environment.
- Requires reaching with hands and arms most of the time.
- Test & Automation knowledge will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to relate well with all levels of staff.
- Knowledge of material characteristics and ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering source documents.
