- Bookkeeping: Perform data entry, manage reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with regulatory documents.
- Financial Reporting: Under senior staff guidance, prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members and clients for the timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Keep abreast of the latest accounting and tax regulations, as well as advancements in software tools.
- Adaptability: Take on additional tasks as assigned by superiors, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude.
- Educational Background: A diploma or degree in accounting or a related field.
- Experience: Prior work experience in accounting or similar roles is valued.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Mandarin speakers are preferred due to client interactions.
- Technical: Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software, particularly SQL Accounting Software.
- Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proactive Nature: Shows initiative and can work effectively under pressure.
- Lifelong Learner: Displays an eagerness to learn and advance in accounting and taxation.
- Communication: Able to interact with clients confidently and effectively.
- Mobility: Possession of personal transportation is necessary.
