Introduction / Context
Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial sector to hire a Regional Manager . This opportunity is based in Singapore and Malaysia .
Position Overview
Drive business growth across the mining, construction, and industrial sectors by expanding the adoption of advanced power and energy solutions across Singapore and Malaysia.
Play a pivotal role in strengthening market presence, developing strategic customer relationships, and contributing to the organisation's commercial success across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Asia Business Development team in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with mining, construction and industrial clients.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline within the CRM system.
- Train distributors on the product and consultative selling approach.
- Understand customers' pain points and prepare proposals and quotations to address those needs.
- Gather market intelligence required for business development.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in the power solutions market for mining, construction, and industrial applications.
- Experience in power systems, energy solutions, or equipment supporting mining operations.
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales activities.
- Experience managing distributor relationships and supporting channel development.
- Experience developing customer proposals and quotations.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of power systems and energy solutions.
- Understanding of equipment and technologies supporting mining operations.
- Experience managing and maintaining sales pipelines within CRM systems.
- Capability to provide product training and support consultative selling methodologies.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and utilise market intelligence to support business development initiatives.
