About Our Client
Our client is one of the public listed firms in Malaysia.
Job Description
- Managing finance and accounting function of the group's division.
- Handling financial accounting, management accounting and overseeing invoicing.
- Team manager - people management and ensuring team members adhere to the statutory requirement & company policies and procedures.
- Perform month end closing and quarterly reporting.
- Liaise with audit, tax and annual filing.
- Handle indirect tax and tax submission.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecast and planning.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
- Partnering with business units on maximizing ROI and improving margins.
- Any system improvements or adhoc projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting / Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
- MIA is a must.
- At least 8 years of related working experience, with 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in handling OTC process would be an added advantage.
