Our client is one of the public listed firms in Malaysia.

Job Description

• Managing finance and accounting function of the group's division.
• Handling financial accounting, management accounting and overseeing invoicing.
• Team manager - people management and ensuring team members adhere to the statutory requirement & company policies and procedures.
• Perform month end closing and quarterly reporting.
• Liaise with audit, tax and annual filing.
• Handle indirect tax and tax submission.
• Overseeing budgeting, forecast and planning.
• Internal and external stakeholder management.
• Partnering with business units on maximizing ROI and improving margins.
• Any system improvements or adhoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting / Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
• MIA is a must.
• At least 8 years of related working experience, with 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in handling OTC process would be an added advantage.
