Staff Engineer Process Pre Assembly

Responsible to achieve robust, auto-pilot processes & drive for quality & productivity projects.

In your new role you will:

1. Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls.
2. Sustain and continuously improve qualified technologies in volume production with regards to stability, quality, productivity, and yield.
3. Lead and troubleshoot process issues, establishing a systematic approach through 8D and DMAIC to prevent recurrence.
4. Support the development of new technologies and ensure smooth take-over into volume production and integration into the manufacturing environment.
5. Be accountable and drive for 8D closure of FAR, MRB, DDM, and SCAR.
6. Lead and drive any focus team & task force.
7. Participate in yield & quality improvement and cost reduction activities.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Mechatronics/Materials Science in Semiconductor Technology.
2. More than 6 years of related experience in Pre-Assembly Semiconductor Assembly Manufacturing background.
3. Statistical data analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge & experience in Pre-Assembly process, production line control & productivity & process improvement.
5. Systematic Problem Solving methodology (8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, Fish Bone).
6. Possess knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes & some equipment knowledge.
