Construction Manager

Job Responsibilities

Engineering Management: -

• Familiar with the working procedures of project development, understand the design principles, strict control on construction practices, quality standards, and implement the laws and regulations of the local construction requirement.
• Control the quality, construction project timeline and cost according to the contract requirements.
• Complete the project quality management objectives according to contract, monitor the project completion and acceptance system, formulate construction scheduling and quality assurance system.

Construction Management: -

• Responsible for pre-construction geological survey on water, electricity, internet connections and land leveling condition. Review of drawings, be responsible for foundation, structure, completion acceptance, and managing the warranty management.
• Cooperate with the construction unit to prepare the general construction work programme according to the contract and the overall arrangement of the company, review the project construction organization design and method of statement, be responsible for controlling the on-site construction progress of the civil, construction and architecture works, and ensure the completion according to the work programme.
• Strictly supervise the construction quality of civil, construction and architecture works, participate in the inspection and acceptance of the works completed, concealed acceptance, and on-site inspection and acceptance of construction materials and equipment, and take full responsibility for the quality of civil, construction and architecture works.
• Strictly supervise and control the construction cost of construction projects, participate in the review and confirmation of the economic visa on the construction site, and ensure the realization of the cost control goal of construction projects
• Participate in on-site civil, construction and architecture contract management, assist in handling disputes, claims and other matters during the implementation and execution of contracts; participate in the bidding work of this major, formulate the professional and technical part of the bidding documents; review the technical tables in the bidding documents and determine the evaluation opinions, organize the inspection of the materials and the determination of the brand scope for the materials to be provided by the construction unit.
• Participate in the management of information exchange, information transmission and information processing among on-site construction units, supervisors, and civil engineering construction units.
• Solve the design and construction problems in the construction projects and the foreign-related relations of civil & construction & architecture works on site.
• Responsible for coordinating the general and subcontracting work and the daily management of the on-site civil & construction & architecture works, and keep the construction log.
• Participate in the weekly on-site construction coordination meeting, review the minutes and monthly reports of the regular supervision meeting, supervise the implementation of the supervision rules and the synchronization of the internal engineering data.
• Responsible for the project defects fixing management and coordination works throughout the duration from handover of the completed project to the property until the expiration of the defects liability period.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in civil engineering and related majors, and the title of engineer or above in the construction industry;
• More than 10 years of experience in civil/MEP engineering construction and management;
• Proficient in civil/MEP construction management and engineering structure knowledge, able to identify various engineering construction drawings;
• Strong on-site construction organization ability and communication, coordination and management ability;
• Strong sense of responsibility and strong sense of teamwork
