Legal Associate (Conveyancing)

Job Description:

1. Assisting the partners in conveyancing matters, including sub-sale, project, and loan documentation, from commencement to completion
2. Draft and review Sale & Purchase Agreements, loan documentation, and other related legal documents
3. Monitor and follow up on all files to ensure timely completion of transactions and compliance with deadlines
4. Maintain proper file management, attend to client enquiries, and provide regular progress updates
5. Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and status reports as required
6. Undertake any other conveyancing-related duties and assignments as may be assigned by the partners from time to time

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Called to the Malaysian Bar and hold a valid Practising Certificate
2. Lawyers with PQE 1-2 years are welcome to apply (remuneration shall commensurate with experience)
3. Able to work independently and undertake responsibility
4. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional language skills would be an added advantage)
5. Responsible, meticulous, organised, and committed to meeting deadlines
6. Good and positive attitude and willing to learn
