The Role

EMQ is a tech-driven company and we apply this to every aspect of our business, including our operations. We are currently looking for an Operations Analyst (Night Shift: 1am to 10am daily ) to join our team. As part of the operations team, you will help us to define, improve, and execute Operations processes and procedures. You will play a key role to ensure our customers are able to make payments globally with optimal efficiency. You will also learn how EMQ uses technology and data to automate our business, gain insights and depth to measure operating efficiency of our network and how this translates into better service levels to our global clients.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Work with EMQ's Network team to understand and define process for new business pay-in/pay-out partner integrations; help develop, improve, and execute daily operational procedures
• Customer transaction data input and review; reconciliation from business partner's report; respond to any settlement inquiry; resolve customer issues as quickly as possible through various channels
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering Teams for system testing of OPS-related functions
• Perform transaction-related data analysis for internal stakeholders
• Work closely with Engineering and Finance teams to monitor and drive system improvements/enhancement via ticketing / bug-tracking tools
• Help to resolve transaction-related issues and escalate complicated cases; understand the prerequisites and requirements to ensure smooth transactions monitoring on a global scale; access server logs to identify problem
• Work closely with EMQ's Network Operations counterparts globally to provide seamless support to our business pay-in/pay-out partners

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Bachelor degree or diploma; relevant experience in a similar role as well as basic knowledge of JSON, XML, and API - a strong plus
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in banking operations or Fintech
• Familiar with Word/Excel function; Zendesk (customer service system) experience would be advantageous
• Open to learn new things with the ability to learn various operations system and tools quickly; not afraid of stepping outside your comfort zone if necessary
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, can work independently and under pressure, a quick learner
• Ability to craft responses and action plans to meet our customers' requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin proficiency a strong plus.
• Night shift schedule: 1am to 10am daily
