Site Safety Supervisor (Infrastructure, Structure Building & M&E)

About the Role

We are an established Civil, Structural & Renewable Energy Subcontractor specializing in C&I (Commercial & Industrial) Solar, Solar Farm PV installation, Earthworks, Infrastructure, and Structural Construction.

We are seeking a proactive, site-experienced, and dedicated Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join our project execution team. You will be based full-time at assigned project sites to enforce site safety, occupational health regulations, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Compliance & On-Site Enforcement:

• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements across assigned project sites.
• Ensure all site personnel, sub-contractors, and visitors strictly comply with safety requirements and site rules.
• Ensure all workers operate under safe and healthy conditions at all times.
• Ensure all machinery, tools, heavy equipment, and PV installation equipment comply with safety regulations and are safe to be operated.

Safety Management & Risk Assessment:

• Assist the Site Manager/Project Manager on all safety matters, procedures, and specifications as required by the client, main contractor, and regulatory authorities (DOSH/JKKP, CIDB).
• Assist the Site Manager in identifying potential hazards, unsafe acts, and safety issues during project execution.
• Ensure workers are thoroughly briefed and strictly execute work according to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and HIRARC.

Inspection, Meetings & Incident Management:

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and check the inventory of the First Aid Box weekly.
• Attend all site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and joint safety inspections with clients/consultants.
• Immediately notify superiors of any site emergencies, near-misses, or urgent safety hazards.
• Actively involve in incident/accident investigations if any incident occurs at site, and prepare investigation reports with corrective actions.

Documentation & Ad-hoc Duties:

• Prepare weekly and monthly site safety reports, inspection logs, and documentation.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned that reasonably relate to regularly assigned duties.

Job Requirements

Certifications & Qualifications:

Certificate in Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) / Yellow Book registered with DOSH/JKKP (or valid site safety certification).

Valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory.

Experience & Competencies:

• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on safety supervision experience in M&E, Civil Infrastructure, Earthworks, Structural Building, or Solar Farm / PV installation sites.
• Solid knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Factories and Machinery Act (FMA), and local construction safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills to manage and brief multi-racial site workers and sub-contractors on safety practices.

Other Mandatory Requirements:

• Mobility: Possess a valid driving license (Class D) and own transportation.
• Certifications: Valid CIDB Green Card is required.
• Must be 100% willing and able to be deployed and based outstation at project sites for the full project cycle.

Important Note for Applicants：

Outstation Requirement:

This position requires 100% stationing/basing at various outstation project sites across Malaysia (including East & West Malaysia) for the duration of the assigned projects. Candidates who are unable to relocate or be based at outstation project sites are advised not to apply.
