Role Description The Takaful Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Seremban, responsible for providing ethical and Shariah-compliant financial protection solutions to individual and corporate customers. Day-to-day activities include meeting clients, assessing their protection and savings needs, and recommending suitable family takaful plans and related services. The Takaful Advisor will conduct regular follow-ups, support clients with policy servicing and claims-related inquiries, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. The role involves participating in sales campaigns, community outreach, and educational sessions to increase awareness of takaful products, while consistently meeting agreed performance and service targets. Collaboration with branch teams, underwriters, and customer service personnel is required to ensure a high standard of customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Sales, negotiation, and basic financial advisory skills, including the ability to explain takaful concepts and product features clearly.
• Good organizational, time management, and administrative skills to manage appointments, documentation, and follow-up activities effectively.
• Comfort with using digital tools, basic office software, and online platforms for presentations, client engagement, and reporting.
• Ability to work towards targets, demonstrate resilience, and adapt to changing customer and market needs.
• Minimum education level typically equivalent to a diploma or bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in insurance, takaful, banking, or financial services is an advantage but not mandatory; new advisors will receive training.
• Understanding of or interest in Shariah-compliant financial products and regulations, with a commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity.
• Proficiency in English and relevant local languages, and willingness to attend ongoing training, workshops, and development programs provided by PruBSN.
