Job Description



We are looking for a Manager, Advertising & Partnerships Business Development to be based in Bangsar South. This role will be reporting to the Lead, Business Development. 

At Advertising & Partnerships we are disrupting the online and offline advertising space by offering a full suite of high impact and visibility solutions within our ecosystem to help our non-restaurant partners reach out to over 15M registered customers across east and west Malaysia.

For this specific role the candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for the acquisition of new clients for our advertising solutions as well as manage and grow the relationship with advertising & marketing agencies. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess and qualify opportunities for selling our advertising solutions to new clients.
  • Do research and client mapping on assigned agencies / direct clients to build an effective sales pipeline.
  • Initiate contact and engage conversations with key decision makers of the prospecting companies. Deliver persuasive presentations, identifying their needs and converting them to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and foster strong relationships. Keep track and ensure campaigns are being executed in a timely manner.
  • Meet sales goals and KPIs. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in business development / sales roles within the advertising and/or digital media industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing solutions and ad measurement metrics for branding and performance.
  • A good network within the advertising and marketing agencies industry is desirable.

  • Fast learner and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical approach to consultative sales & building client relationships, translating product value to clients.
  • Excellent in identifying business opportunities and problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently and also work well with external parties.
  • Result oriented with ability to meet business targets.
  • Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/tech environments would be an advantage.
