About The Job: Sales Assistant Manager / Manager (FMCG)

Job Responsibilities:
- Leading General Trade (GT) team in achieving group sales target.
- Assisting team in sales target, customer inquiries, collection, and other sales-related issues.
- Developing business strategy, evaluating current business performance, maximizing business reach and potential.
- Exploring and opening new distribution markets and accounts within Malaysia.
- Identifying business opportunities and building successful relationships with prospects and existing clients/distributors.
- Negotiating business contracts and closing deals.
- Following up on new business opportunities.
- Conducting and coordinating market research/opportunity assessment, compiling information, and making recommendations to management.
- Retaining existing customers and renewing contracts.
- Building long-term relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
- Identifying opportunities for greater profits.
- Submitting reports and representing the GT group in HOD.
- Handling ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in the general trade sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented with a track record of setting and achieving sales targets.
- Preferably from an FMCG background, with an understanding of industry dynamics and market trends.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
Remuneration:
- Up to MYR 7,000 + Incentive.
