Job Responsibilities:

  1. Leading General Trade (GT) team in achieving group sales target.
  2. Assisting team in sales target, customer inquiries, collection, and other sales-related issues.
  3. Developing business strategy, evaluating current business performance, maximizing business reach and potential.
  4. Exploring and opening new distribution markets and accounts within Malaysia.
  5. Identifying business opportunities and building successful relationships with prospects and existing clients/distributors.
  6. Negotiating business contracts and closing deals.
  7. Following up on new business opportunities.
  8. Conducting and coordinating market research/opportunity assessment, compiling information, and making recommendations to management.
  9. Retaining existing customers and renewing contracts.
  10. Building long-term relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
  11. Identifying opportunities for greater profits.
  12. Submitting reports and representing the GT group in HOD.
  13. Handling ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in the general trade sector.
  2. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Result-oriented with a track record of setting and achieving sales targets.
  4. Preferably from an FMCG background, with an understanding of industry dynamics and market trends.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  6. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to make informed decisions.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.

Remuneration:

  1. Up to MYR 7,000 + Incentive.
