Job Description

OVERVIEW

The incumbent is to assist Manager oversees and manages process inspection activities (QAI) to ensure that procedures and work instructions are being implemented accordingly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Check and identify on any deviations in procedure and work instruction against actual practice in QAI section.

Review and update all quality system procedures and work instructions related to QAI section to ensure its accuracy and validity including:

Standard operating procedures
Work instructions
Forms and tables
To oversee the laboratory activities by ensuring that quality system established are being implemented successfully as per on AQL set forth
Testing Method
Regulatory Requirements
ISO Documentation
To ensure that proper records are to be identified, stored, protected, retrieval, retained and disposed – off as per HSB-SOP-005 Control of Records.
Investigate, address quality problem and/or report to superior on any non-compliance found during QAI sampling.
Communicate with Production and Packing in regards to improvement on operational issues.
Ensure proper segregation and labelling at QAI are to prevent mixing up
Provide training and guidance to subordinates in regards to daily activities and identified training needs.
Ensure safety and monitor the performance, attendance and discipline of subordinates with assistance of Supervisor.
Monitor new employee performance for Group Leader and above.
Conduct training evaluation for Group Leaders and Supervisors on a timely manner
Viewing of QAI reports to ensure its accuracy and that it is updated.
Ensure sufficient equipment and facilities provided to subordinates to carry out their task
Provide training, guidance and coaching to subordinates (if any).
Any other tasks assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Science or any related field.

Work Experience:

Preferable 1 year of experience or fresh graduate with similar roles and responsibilities.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

Quality control and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
