JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Strategist to join our team at Astro Media Solutions as the team is going through a dynamic transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and managing the company's overall digital advertising strategy which is crucial for the success of client solution efforts and requires a tech-savvy individual with a passion for digital technologies and a drive to achieve business growth goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital advertising strategy to leverage on Astro's digital ecosystem in delivering brand and business outcomes for our clients and partners
• Drive strategic digital product decisions through the evaluation of market-trends, customer data and prospective analysis of the business's product and revenue performance to establish digital as a key component in the AMS solution
• Proactively communicate go-to-market strategy to both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with IT & Technology teams, develop new tech and data enable products which can be deployed in-market opening up new revenue streams / opportunities through the use of 'smart' data.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities.
• Coach and support sales Team on digital stewardship presentation development prospecting building working relationships in the ad buying community using integrated concepts to develop marketing programs and delivering compelling presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Astro Media Solutions and Astro Group to create cohesive and effective campaigns.
• Provide strategic advise that can guide the management and optimisation of the company's digital presence across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and the company website.
• Utilize analytics tools to understand performance, measure ROI, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing tools and trends, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and competitive.
• Together with HR, review the capability and skills of the salesforce on digital side of competencies and pivoting quickly to ensure we have the right people, with the right skills to engage with clients on new advertising strategies and products
• Works closely with Exco and Senior Leadership Team in enabling AMS's sales strategy and alignment of marketing approaches to ensure achievement of Astro's overall business goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• PHD/Masters/Degree in sales, marketing, or any other business-related field

• Proven experience as a Digital Strategist or similar role in the advertising/media /marketing field.

• Creative mindset with the ability to identify target audiences and devise engaging campaigns.

• Look for every opportunity to influence our people and change our culture through them.

• A minimum of 10 years working experience in a senior management position, preferably as a head of Digital Strategist/ advertising sales/ advertising operations/ advertising technology
• Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels and experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
• Strong appreciation of Entertainment / Media industry
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate business strategy and create compelling case for change
• Technological Savvy and high analytical skills to reach business's audience more effectively by converting data and information into actionable insights and strategies.
• Strategic thinker, consumer-driven and have a passion in people.
