Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally. Working hours : 9.00am - 6.00pm Region : SG and HK What will you do
- Responsible for timely and accurate end to end processing of Corporate Action Events and Life Cycle Management according to defined SLAs. Products covered: Equity, Fixed Income, Funds, Structured Notes, Derivatives
- Ensure that all transactions and fundings are processed in accordance to bank rule, circulars, procedures and local requirements
- Manage requests and queries within stipulated time frame
- Adherence to all control points in place
- Cash and security breaks investigation and escalation
- Demonstrate clear understanding and adherence to WM escalation protocol.
- Participate in projects, strategic initiatives and testing
- Review process flows and initiate process improvements via change requests, defects
- Take lead in projects, strategic initiatives and testing
- Demonstrate clear understanding and apply the RBC Values, cultures and leadership model in all daily dealings
- Active enrollment in courses offered by Learning & Development team and to apply knowledge gained in day to day processing
- Provide relief support and other duties assigned and cross train on all functions performed with the team and across department
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Minimum 1 year of working experience within a Corporate Actions team/department with Derivatives lifecycle management
- Good working knowledge of global practices in relation to corporate actions
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Good inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Committed and responsible with an attitude to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Familiarity with Avaloq system, Bloomberg, Reuters, Swift Alliance.
