Shipping & Logistics Executive (Mandarin Speaker)

Our client is a well-established multinational company specializing in advanced technology solutions for the maritime industry. With a strong global presence and decades of industry expertise, the company partners with customers across commercial, offshore, and marine sectors to deliver high-quality products and reliable technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments between the Malaysia and Singapore offices.
- Arrange import and export shipments for customer orders.
- Coordinate the dispatch of equipment to customers across Malaysia.
- Prepare and maintain shipping, customs, and logistics documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels for spare parts and electronic components.
- Work closely with the Operations team and Senior Executive to plan shipments efficiently.
- Liaise with regional counterparts regarding shipment schedules and customer requirements.
- Handle regulatory permit applications, including SIRIM and other relevant permits.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and logistics-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and on-time delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, import/export, or logistics coordination.
- Good understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Experience handling regulatory permits (e.g. SIRIM ) will be an added advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
