Environmental Health & Safety Associate Engineer

Daily Monitoring and Operation

Daily monitoring, logging, and handling of IETS operation. The candidate will highlight all findings to EHS and Facilities Manager. (IETS – Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants) according to DOE requirements. Ensure no interruption on DI and no pollution in Waste Water to environment/monsoon drain. (DI – Deionizer water).

Reporting and Documentation

Regularly make weekly inventory report to DOE system via DOE online. Requirements by DOE - Department of Environmental. Follow up and update Plant chemical registration and PPE Matrix and registration. (PPE – Personal Protective Equipments). EHS Buy-off. Registration & Log PTW on all Sanmina vendors and site safety monitoring. (PTW – Permit To Work)

Assistance and Audit

Assist EHS Officer on risk assessment and documentation requirements. Regular site audit/inspection and EHS findings report. Priority given to IETS Competent Person (CP) certificate holder. (Experience in IETS is a must)

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or EHS related field. Experience in:

1. IETS – Industrial Effluent Treatment System or Waste Water Treatment Plant. (WWTP)
2. Handling EHS - Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health related work

Added advantages include:

• Conducting training to employees and vendors with fluent English and Malay
• Conducting ISO14001 or RBA (EICC) internal audit
• Able to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Additional advantage if capable of report writing, emails, and conducting meetings as needed.
