Position Title : Assistant Sourcing Manager

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM6,500 - RM7,500

Responsibilities

. Work with BD Team on the RFQ Package and initiate the sourcing activities.

. Analyzing quote by all the suppliers and provide the proposed Cost BOM for Senior Sourcing Strategy Manager approval.

. Manage the Quote Maintenance upon the approval from the new business awarded customer.

. Audit the system purchase cost - to ensure all Purchase Order are execute based on the approved allocated manufacturer and pricing.

. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives.

. Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.

. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.

. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.

. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.

. Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

. Regularly review and analyse sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirement

. Degree in business administration or a related field

. Minimum five years of experience and required industry experience, including two years in a supervisory role.

. Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.

. Strong planning and organizational skills.

. Possesses the ability to lead and motivate teams.

. Demonstrates accountability, professional integrity, and attention to detail while managing tight deadlines and multitasking.

. Independent, self-motivated, and proactive with a strategic mindset.
