Rhingle is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee both client software projects and internal software products. As the bridge between clients and our development team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering quality results.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client software projects and internal software products.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates, and address client concerns proactively.
- Team Coordination:
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication between team members to drive project success.
- Resource Allocation:
- Allocate resources effectively to optimize project delivery timelines and meet client requirements.
- Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks that may impact project progress.
- Risk Management:
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.
- Proactively address issues and obstacles to keep projects on track.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to validate the functionality and performance of software products.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve project outcomes.
- Solicit feedback from clients and team members to drive iterative improvements in project management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. (Or if you simply have what it takes?)
- Proven experience (3 years or more) in technical project management, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.
- Experience working with clients in a consulting or agency environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Teamwork or others.
