Your Role:
- Prepare necessary documents, identify correct HS code and provide other information as required for import and export of all shipments.
- Closely co-ordinate with forwarder on customs procedure to ensure smooth import and export shipment.
- Manage and file all import-export documents after customs clearance in a systematic and tidy manner.
- Liaise with forwarder, transporter, and customer for delivering equipment and parts.
- Ensure proper security and accuracy of stock in warehouse, record stock-in and stock-out with adequate proof of delivery, minimize stock difference between physical and record.
- Maintain required minimum stock level, place stock order upon sales and service team’s request.
- Ensure the correct receipt of incoming goods and on-time delivery to both service team & customers.
- Carry out inventory and control stock ageing for goods return on a timely basis.
- Co-ordinate for handling defective and scrap items in accordance with company’s policy.
- Liaise and closely work together with internal departments.
Your Profile:
- Have at least 3-year experience in the role of import and export executive for a multinational/foreign-invested company.
- Thoroughly understand the whole procedure of the country’s customs clearance and post-clearance.
- Be familiar with import-export procedure for all types of enterprises including export processing enterprises.
- Understand logistics pricing structure for working in the best cost-effective way.
- Degree in Logistics, Business, Management, or related disciplines in Supply Chain.
- Computer literacy in MS Office.
- Excellent skills in task self-organization with high responsibility and accuracy.
- Good sense of urgency.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Good communication skill and capability of problem-solving and team working.
