Purchasing Executive (contract) | Engineering | Petaling Jaya (Fresh graduates are welcome!)

Company overview

Our client is a leading multinational group. As a dynamic and expanding business, they are looking to bring on board a Purchasing Executive to join their team in Petaling Jaya.

The new role

1. Negotiate the best price with best term for company.
2. Yearly review on supplier standard price list and standard scope of work.
3. Negotiate with supplier for best price offer.
4. Ensure all PO with comparison.
5. Follow up with suppliers for any delivery arrangement.
6. Ensure all required information submitted.
7. Change in system if any information updated from vendor.
8. Yearly review on vendor information.
9. Manage dispute, continuous driving quality performance of suppliers.
10. Close monitoring of supplier lead time.
11. Monitor outstanding PO for respective suppliers to ensure on time delivery.

Requirements to succeed

1. Diploma in Supply Chain or Engineering discipline. Any other equivalent diploma.
2. Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience.
3. Good communication in both English and Malay.
4. Has basic engineering exposure.
5. Strong in negotiation skills and SAP would be added advantage.
