Job Description
To ensure stores activities are operated smoothly and according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage product quality, store cleanliness, and staff hygiene.
- Check bank-in reports of stores to ensure daily sales takings are banked in on time.
- Monitor and ensure smooth daily operation at the assigned stores.
- Verify store requisitions, including stock take reports, petty cash, claims, payroll, and hiring of part-time staff.
- Ensure store opening, closing, and sales transactions are in line with the SOP.
- Conduct ROR (Review of Operations Risks) on food safety, SOPs, product quality, and health risks to ensure compliance with required standards.
To train, guide & coach service staff on performance & discipline and plan work shifts for store staff.
Responsible for renewing store licenses with local councils.
Ensure overall retail outlet operations are managed effectively to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability and productivity, increase customer satisfaction, and ensure continuous business growth, including monitoring and executing marketing programs.
Manage customer complaints promptly and take effective action to prevent recurrence.
Monitor and control operational expenses and budgets.
Able to plan sales promotions & marketing initiatives.
Ensure identification of obsolete/slow-moving stock and obtain management approval on markdowns and product discounts to ensure stock is liquidated as per retail/brand/category guidelines.
Ensure all orders issued are delivered on time and maintain the highest delivery ratio.
Conduct competitor surveys on product features, prices, and activities in surrounding outlets.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in any discipline.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Able to travel for several stores.
Ability to solve customer complaints and identify solutions to facilitate employee performance.
