Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications (Android/iOS or cross-platform).
- Build and maintain the backend systems, APIs, and databases supporting the apps.
- Develop new systems or customize existing ones, leveraging frameworks or platforms to accelerate delivery.
- Work with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture and development plans.
- Integrate mobile apps and backend systems with internal applications, 3rd-party platforms, or SaaS services such as payment gateways, CRM, ERP, or HR systems, loyalty, points, or rewards systems, fulfilment, logistics, or inventory platforms, hospital, clinic, or appointment systems
- Ensure smooth data flow and synchronization between frontend and backend systems.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation across both app and backend layers.
- Manage version control, deployment, and updates (e.g., Git, app stores, servers).
- Provide post-launch maintenance and ongoing system improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in mobile and backend development, including end-to-end system delivery.
- Proficient in Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS development.
- Strong knowledge of backend frameworks such as Node.js, Laravel, Firebase, or similar.
- Comfortable working with or extending existing platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Drupal, WordPress, custom CMS).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, integration with SaaS, and data synchronization.
- Familiar with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.).
- Experience with cloud services and hosting (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently and manage full project delivery.
