Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic asset inspections for bridges, culverts, slopes, buildings, and road furniture by planning, preparing, and executing detailed weekly programs and on-foot inspections.
• Assist in preparing draft asset inspection reports for Technical Team review before submission.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintain defect lists, update asset inspection status, and notify LPT2 Sdn. Bhd. regarding routine maintenance works.
• Ensure effective preparation and coordination of Asset Management Services events, meetings, and all related documentation.
• Assist in managing and monitoring awarded project works, including leading and attending technical and monthly progress meetings.
• Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for technical and progress meetings to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Ensure that all contracted works are executed according to approved specifications, including implementing necessary QA/QC measures.
• Conduct final inspections, review contractors’ claims, and assist in the issuance of CPC (Certificate of Practical Completion) and CMGD (Certificate of Making Good Defects).
• Ensure compliance with QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) requirements by all parties at site, as per LPT2 and OPUS standards.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractor representatives to ensure smooth execution of tasks and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of total work experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Asset Management and Civil Works Construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Possess valid CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) certification.
• Possess EOSP (Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health Passport) certification.
