Job Description
The Responsibilities of the Role:
- To provide support and supervision to other business units in handling staff disciplinary and employee relations matters.
- To assist subordinates in matters related to Industrial Relations, Employee Relations (ER), and Expatriate Management.
- To conduct disciplinary training for new hires.
- To participate and assist with company-wide Employee Relations related programs and activities, including handling staff grievances, participating in internal communications initiatives, etc.
- To attend to Labour Office, Industrial Relations Office, Panel Lawyers, Industrial Court, and other relevant government bodies in the absence of the line manager.
- To assist in the counseling of employees on disciplinary, employee relations, expatriate management matters, and act as an intermediary between supervisors and staff.
- To assist in the investigations of disciplinary-related complaints.
- To generate warning/suspension/charge/dismissal letters as per the Company's policies.
- To conduct, coordinate, and run Domestic Inquiries on staff disciplinary matters.
- To continuously coach and guide HR Assistants and HR Administrators in their daily work to excel.
- To provide a monthly report on industrial relations matters.
The Requirements for the Role:
- Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
