Job Responsibility ⢠Assist in preparing and measuring ingredients according to recipes. Â
⢠Execute basic baking techniques, including mixing, lamination, shaping and proofing dough.
⢠Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and dough sheeters. Â
⢠Contribute to the production of a variety of pastries and other baked goods.
⢠Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in product quality.
⢠Collaborate with the pastry team to meet production targets and timelines.
⢠Monitor the baking process to ensure the quality, taste and texture of products meet the pastryâs standards.
⢠Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
⢠Communicate any issue or discrepancies to the head pastry chef.
- Cleanliness and Sanitastion
⢠Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards. Â
⢠Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure the safety of products and customers.
⢠Assist in managing ingredient inventory, notifying the team leader when supplies need to be replenished.
⢠Monitor and report any discrepancies in inventory levels.
⢠Work closely with other members of the pastry team to achieve common goals.
⢠Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to ensure smooth workflow.
