Accounts Manager

Establishes & secures financial status by developing, monitoring, implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, auditing and reporting financial information and managing accounts department staff.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and review.
  • Preparing and completing action plan, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, implementing change.
  • Confirms financial status by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data, preparing special reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / or a professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / ICAEW / MICPA) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8 years working in a financial managerial position, preferably with adequate experience in the tourism or services industry.
