Job Description

1. Coordinating SSD mechanical qualification efforts for new products and change in designs, materials, or processes
2. Involve in mechanical reliability test include but not limited to solder joint analysis, environmental test, mechanical stress & solderability
3. Providing recommendations on product release based on package reliability test results
4. Jointly assess risk associated with excursions, conversions, reliability, qualification issues
5. Manage reliability schedule plan to stakeholders and provide progress update in a timely manner
6. Coordinate with technician to perform daily execution to meet project schedule
7. Initiate failure tracker in JIRA and ensure it's properly closed
8. Review Mechanical test result and provide recommendation

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering
2. Have mechanical reliability & failure analysis background
3. Thorough knowledge of semiconductor component package assembly processes and challenges
4. Knowledge of surface mount processes and challenges
5. Understanding of mechanical and material interaction effects on reliability of IC components and/or Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCB) assemblies
6. Good understanding of the effects thermomechanical, thermal, mechanical, and hygroscopic swelling stresses on package reliability
7. Working knowledge of industry standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics preferred
8. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to interact easily with other groups
9. Good written and verbal communication skills
10. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and detail-oriented
11. Basic electronic knowledge is a plus
12. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
