Job Description
- Coordinating SSD mechanical qualification efforts for new products and change in designs, materials, or processes
- Involve in mechanical reliability test include but not limited to solder joint analysis, environmental test, mechanical stress & solderability
- Providing recommendations on product release based on package reliability test results
- Jointly assess risk associated with excursions, conversions, reliability, qualification issues
- Manage reliability schedule plan to stakeholders and provide progress update in a timely manner
- Coordinate with technician to perform daily execution to meet project schedule
- Initiate failure tracker in JIRA and ensure it's properly closed
- Review Mechanical test result and provide recommendation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Have mechanical reliability & failure analysis background
- Thorough knowledge of semiconductor component package assembly processes and challenges
- Knowledge of surface mount processes and challenges
- Understanding of mechanical and material interaction effects on reliability of IC components and/or Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCB) assemblies
- Good understanding of the effects thermomechanical, thermal, mechanical, and hygroscopic swelling stresses on package reliability
- Working knowledge of industry standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics preferred
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to interact easily with other groups
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and detail-oriented
- Basic electronic knowledge is a plus
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
