Job Description
- Policy and Procedure Development: Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices.
- Standards Interpretation and Implementation: Ensure that quality assurance standards are correctly interpreted and effectively implemented across the organization.
- Sampling and Data Management: Design sampling procedures, and establish directions for accurately recording and reporting quality data.
- Quality System Review: Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of quality assurance and inspection systems, making improvements as necessary.
- Testing and Inspection Oversight: Plan, conduct, and oversee testing and inspection activities to ensure that materials and finished products meet established quality standards.
- Audit Documentation and Investigation: Document internal audits, investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
- Data Analysis: Collect, compile, and analyze statistical data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the quality system.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on the outcomes of quality assurance activities to senior management.
- Training and Development: Identify and address training needs to ensure that staff members are equipped to meet quality standards. Organize and lead training sessions as required.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers, evaluate findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks related to quality assurance activities, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Document Management: Maintain and improve document management systems to support quality assurance activities.
The Successful Applicant
- Education: Diploma, Degree, or Master's in a related field, preferably in Sciences.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or a related function within the automotive, pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer industries.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in quality inspection, auditing, testing, and implementation of corrective action programs. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, QA applications, and databases.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of QA tools, concepts, methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Language Skills: Expert-level proficiency in oral and written English. Fluency in Chinese or other languages is a plus
