Job Description
The Role
As the Manager of Trade Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our products via various existing and new channels. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.
Below is a synopsis of your job function:
- To lead the planning and execution of trade fairs, promotional campaigns and activities to meet business targets
- Monitor and analyse exhibition, campaign and trade fairs results to identify opportunities for improvement and develop alternate strategies when necessary.
- Carry out market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities to increase brand and products visibility
- To conduct regular visits, build good relationship with retail customers to identify their needs to formulate action plan to further strengthen our brand and product positioning
- Work closely with product team to monitor and ensure the products are properly positioned in retail store
- Analyse sales data for dealer and product segmentation, keep track and implement strategies to maximise the trade spending budget
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or its equivalent from a recognised university or college
Experience:
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in trade marketing
- Preferably with work experience in coatings or building materials industry
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks
- An independent, highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details
- High calibre and dynamic with good communication and analytical skills
- A person with a pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal skills
