Production Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Production Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized;
- Ensure that equipment’s are maintained in good and safe working condition;
- Uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line;
- A production operator, also known as a machine operator,
- To handle heavy machinery, such as forklifts;
- Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders;
- Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality;
- Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation;
- Repair and clean the equipment when needed;
- Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing;
- Implement the company’s principles, policies and operational requirements for quality, health, safety and environmental management;
- Report any operating or mechanical faults or issues to management;
- Keep production order confidential as part of Information Protection Policy and documented accordingly;
- Operate equipment and handling raw materials as per Occupational Health and Safety instructions;
- Submit production report on actual result including data for asset effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Physically fit;
- Single;
- Specialization: Engineering – Mechnical / Automotive;
- Preferably with experience in plastic injection;
- Willing on shifting schedule and overtime;
- High school or vocational course graduate;
- Ability to do repetitive tasks; detail-oriented; understanding of industry and safety standards;
- Industry Type: Manufacturing;
- Height is atleast 5″2;
