Accountant (BCom) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Accountant (BCom) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare divisional charge journal;
- Prepare VAT return;
- Review GL recons monthly;
- Year-end accounting pack;
- Full house accounting function;
- Control GL posting;
- Take responsibility and review the stock-take process;
- Monthly management accounts, profit estimates, forward forecasts, divisional reports etc;
- Insurance renewal documents;
- Assist staff with problem areas in your units;
- Capex control and maintaining the fixed asset register;
- Manage day-to-day accounting issues;
- Assist with loan account balancing;
- Monthly tax computations and tax packs;
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
Requirements:
- Syspro an advantage;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Newly qualified B.Com (Accounting);
- Basic computer literacy (MS Excel);
- 1 – 3 Years working experience, will be an advantage.
