Our company is looking for a Audit Senior to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and evaluation of performance in relation to budget;
  • Audit assignment budget planning and management;
  • Performance management of staff members including, continuously providing feedback to staff;
  • Perform tax return reviews;
  • Conduct full audit file reviews and related reports to ensure the relevant files are ready for sign off;
  • Approve timesheets;
  • Leading the team at the client in the absence of the director;
  • Auditing, independent review and compilation of financials statements according to IFRS for SMEs;
  • Ad hoc Responding and dealing with client queries, work in progress, and general planning;
  • Ensuring that you meet the minimum billings hours as per the company standards;
  • Candidate to have strong technical skills;
  • Preparation of all reports, statements and letters depending on engagement type;
  • Issuing and reviewing of all assurance related billings;
  • Report writing;
  • Audit Execution.

Requirements:

  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles;
  • Ability to market and sell company services;
  • A thorough knowledge of IFRS for SME’s; IFRS; ISA; and taxation;
  • Pay attention to detail;
  • Overtime will be required from time to time to meet client deadlines;
  • Results driven and able to achieve work goals and objectives;
  • Ad hoc Responding and dealing with client queries, work in progress, and general planning;
  • Ensuring that you meet the minimum billings hours as per the company standards;
  • Candidate to have strong technical skills;
  • BCompt Accounting degree or similar;
  • Leading the team at the client in the absence of the director;
  • Auditing, independent review and compilation of financials statements according to IFRS for SMEs;
  • Completed Accounting degree;
  • Pot-article experience is advantageous;
  • Ability to drive for client service excellence.
