Our company is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input in testing, including but not restricted to test plans and test cases;
  • Participate in functional / technical design sessions and assist in crafting innovative solutions for product features;
  • Own and develop relationship with partners;
  • Work with partners to optimize and enhance our integration;
  • Tax returns;
  • Utilising your strong analysis skills to analyse the business landscape including current and target processes;
  • Specify and maintain data import methods across different data sources;
  • Supports cross-functional teams such as SFE, sales, marketing and finance, on day-to-day execution of projects;
  • Support business KPI’s by identifying data needs and delivering value cases to drive business value creation;
  • Work closely with IT to provide appropriate data and tools for the analytics team to be successful;
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions;
  • Writing functional specifications and user stories;
  • Performing user acceptance testing;
  • Work with implementation, product and QA teams to deliver the solution;
  • Understanding the business processes and the interdependencies of various systems in use.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification;
  • Familiarity with Minitab added benefit;
  • Preferably applicants with own transport and must be willing to work in Publika Solaris Dutamas KL;
  • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities and respond to critical needs of the Actuarial, Executive, and Finance departments;
  • Effective time and task management skills. Works well under pressure and takes constructive criticism;
  • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English;
  • Role is diagnosing and controlling operational issues for a leading online shop, and co-ordinating back with the off-site development team;
  • Proven BA experience in the financial services industry;
  • Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates;
  • Understanding the detail but also being able to take a big picture approach;
  • Provide monthly feedback to the executive team on product roadmap and updates to customer facing documentation;
  • 4 year course related to Information Technology, Computer Science or any Business Course;
  • At least 1year working experience in Business Process Mapping, Release Mgt., and Technical Risk Management;
  • Hadoop;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
