Corporate Finance Reporting Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Corporate Finance Reporting Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of investor presentations and financial analysis / commentary;
- Preparing subsidiary annual financial statements under IFRS;
- Assisting with year-end and governance processes;
- Providing technical financial advice and guidance to the Group under IFRS;
- Managing the relationship with investor relations consultants;
- Monitoring best practice and making recommendations to executive management;
- Proactively researching technical accounting and reporting matters and assessing their potential impact on the Group;
- Assisting in providing analysis and input in the annual budget process on corporate transactions;
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for compliance purposes (treasury covenants etc.);
- Assisting in ad-hoc tasks and projects, which typically have a commercial focus and exposure to senior management.
Requirements:
- Passionate about financial reporting;
- Hyperion / Microsoft AX experience an advantage;
- 5+ years’ post articles experience, ideally preparing consolidated financial statements for a medium to large group;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- CA (SA) is a mandatory requirement – Big 4 articles preferred;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IFRS.
