Finance Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Filing tax returns;
- Paying accounts on behalf of the organization;
- Preparing trial balances;
- Performing other duties as required;
- Preparing financial reports;
- Depositing money received by the organization;
- Preparing cash flow statements;
- Support US payroll and ensure our HR systems are up to date;
- Handles cost center related expenses: Remittances – SSS, PHIC, HDMF & MESALA,
- Identify and address account discrepancies;
- Reimbursements (representation),
- Monthly reporting;
- Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements;
- Month-end accruals,
- Record Bank Statements and ensure properly reconciled transactions every month.
Requirements:
- Must be self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail;
- Must have at least 2 years experience in finance/accounting or audit;
- Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Payroll Staff or a similar role;
- Financial Analysis;
- At least with 2-3 years of working experience;
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping financial procedures;
- Financial modelling;
- Ability to prioritize and organize work;
- Financial Statement Analysis;
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment;
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and/or other financial tracking systems preferable (i.e. QuickBooks/Xero);
- Must have strong MS Excel skills;
- Work experience in A/P or GL is an advantage;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
