Our company is looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Checks invoices and orders for accuracy;
  • Works within a given budget to purchase goods and services for projects;
  • Ensure that the correct products are delivered in a timely manner to satisfy project specific requirements;
  • Compares prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions;
  • Transfer stock and action requests for collections and deliveries;
  • Negotiates with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-point;
  • Possesses strong negotiation skills;
  • Is timely in following up on contracts and checking on lead times and backorders;
  • Has good verbal communications skills;
  • Is trustworthy and does not abuse authority or misappropriate funds;
  • Must be able to form strong inter-personal relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Has good math skills and is quickly able to calculate the cost of goods and services;
  • Is capable of staying within a given budget;
  • Able to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
