Responsibilities:
- Grow client portfolio;
- Recommend billings amount and timings;
- Manage individual/business unit productivity;
- Tax Administration and dispute resolution;
- Training and development;
- Articles and other client communication material;
- Assist with staffing;
- Identify cross-selling opportunities;
- Research;
- Mentoring and coaching;
- Focus and / or Operational Group Leader;
- Manage risk management procedures;
- Assist with department budgets;
- Assist with performance management;
- Budget management in respect of client engagements.
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office package);
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and situations;
- Accounting/Legal/Economics degree plus post graduate tax qualification;
- Excellent report writing skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent relating and networking skills;
- Ability to apply professional / specialist / technical expertise;
- Familiarity with relevant software to perform comparable searches;
- Ability to gather information and solve problems;
- Sound knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines as well as South African transfer pricing guidance;
- Ability to plan and organise activities;
- 1-2 Years transfer pricing experience highly recommended;
- Minimum of 2-3 years tax consulting experience as a client- facing Tax Consultant in a professional services environment.
