Our company is looking for a Tax Consultant (Transfer Pricing) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow client portfolio;
  • Recommend billings amount and timings;
  • Manage individual/business unit productivity;
  • Tax Administration and dispute resolution;
  • Training and development;
  • Articles and other client communication material;
  • Assist with staffing;
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities;
  • Research;
  • Mentoring and coaching;
  • Focus and / or Operational Group Leader;
  • Manage risk management procedures;
  • Assist with department budgets;
  • Assist with performance management;
  • Budget management in respect of client engagements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office package);
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and situations;
  • Accounting/Legal/Economics degree plus post graduate tax qualification;
  • Excellent report writing skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent relating and networking skills;
  • Ability to apply professional / specialist / technical expertise;
  • Familiarity with relevant software to perform comparable searches;
  • Ability to gather information and solve problems;
  • Sound knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines as well as South African transfer pricing guidance;
  • Ability to plan and organise activities;
  • 1-2 Years transfer pricing experience highly recommended;
  • Minimum of 2-3 years tax consulting experience as a client- facing Tax Consultant in a professional services environment.
