Our company is looking for a associate professor/senior lecturer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support and lead the enhancement of publications for a developing research staff compliment;
- Leading community engagement and development projects to the benefits of community health and nursing service delivery;
- Coaching and mentoring in clinical nursing health field;
- Leadership;
- Support and assist with nursing/health clinical postgraduate course-work development in the School;
- Lead students and support personnel in undergraduate and post-graduate research;
- Leading and Coordinating the Teaching and Learning of Research Modules in Masters and PhD Research Programme, including clinical specialization;
- Masters in Nursing (NQF 9);
- PhD in computer science and information systems or relevant/related subject;
- 3 – 5 Years’ experience in Research-Lecturing and Postgraduate supervision;
- Accredited by the South African Nursing Councel;
- Registered at the South African Nursing Counsel as a Professional Nurse;
- Research;
- Two (2) years management experience is desirable;
- Two (2) years experience in research with proven research record within computer science fields is essential.
Requirements:
- Accredited by the South African Nursing Council;
- Educational Qualification (e.g. nursing education or higher education;
- 3 – 5 Years’ experience in Research-Lecturing and Postgraduate supervision;
- PhD in Nursing (NQF Level 10);
- Registered at the South African Nursing Counsel as a Professional Nurse;
- Senior Lecturer: 3 years’ experience in Teaching/Lecturing is essential;
- Clinical Specialisation in Midwifery Nursing or Psychiatric nursing or nursing education;
- Masters in Nursing (NQF 9);
- Associate Professor: Substantial publications is essential;
- 3 – 5 Years’ experience in Higher Education Teaching;
- Associate Professor : 5 years’ experience in Teaching/Lecturing is essential;
- Senior Lecturer: Substantial publication will be an added advantage;
- Professional Status will be an added advantage;
- PhD in Mathematical Sciences is essential;
- 5 – 7 Years’ experience in Higher Education Teaching.
