Our company is looking for a Waitress to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene;
  • Meet or exceed the monthly drink profit margin target;
  • Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues;
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all products;
  • Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner;
  • Ensure mis-en-place is well stocked at all floor stations;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment used during shifts;
  • Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents;
  • Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manor;
  • Show complete awareness of all the drink and food menus and readiness to explain and recommend food and drink contents;
  • Ensure all tables receive their drinks and food as requested;
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures;
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation;
  • Use every possible opportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of bar supervision;
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar and stores to Health, Safety and Hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position;
  • Ambition, commitment to the role and a love of the service industry;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant;
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
  • Must be able to work in the evenings Tuesdays – Saturdays (around 15 hours);
  • Outgoing friendly personality with good English;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Must be reliable and punctual;
  • Accountable and resilient;
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams;
  • An ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs;
