Our company is looking for a Night Receptionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems;
  • Checking the day‘s bookings , Booking invoices and delivery receipts;
  • Crew / passenger charges (phone calls, faxes, postcards, etc);
  • Follow company brand standards;
  • Ensures passenger satisfaction through proper handling of their issues / situations;
  • Completion of any other task / paperwork requested by chief purser or crew purser;
  • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities;
  • Operates in accordance with ISM safety rules and regulations as well as with company policy and in the interests of the owner at all times;
  • Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team’s training and development efforts;
  • Passenger cash payments;
  • Daily settlement with restaurant stewards and barkeeper;
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times;
  • Knows and adheres to company regulations, SOPs and ISM, especially where relevant to the ship‘s operation;
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required;
  • Prepares passenger landing forms whenever requested.

Requirements:

  • European passport;
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service;
  • Good administration skills;
  • Self-assured and calm manner towards staff, passengers and authorities;
  • Competent level of IT proficiency;
  • Flexibility to work night shifts;
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team;
  • Well-groomed and clean appearance;
  • Excellent grooming standards;
  • Trustworthy person, maintaining confidentiality at all times;
  • Ability to work under duress and on his/her own initiative, reliability;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills;
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry.
