Occupational Health Nurse Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Occupational Health Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general medicals on employees;
- HIV / AIDS management and treatment;
- Process correspondence for employee injuries on duty (IOD’s);
- Assist the company doctor.
Requirements:
- An Occupational Health qualification;
- A valid dispensing license;
- Honest with an understanding of employee confidentiality;
- An ability to take criticism and improve on any areas of weakness;
- Cautious and Empathetic;
- Initiative and the ability to work independently without supervision;
- Candidate must possess a Professional License in Nursing with Occupational Safety and Health Certification;
- Preferably with Certification in Basic Occupational Safety and Health training;
- Must have at least one (1) year experience as a Nurse or any job title with similar functions;
- License required: Registered Nurse;
- An experience working as a Company Nurse is an advantage;
- Certification in First Aid;
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
- Certification Required: Basic Life Support.
