Assistant Maintenance Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly;
- Perform daily checks around the hotel;
- Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses;
- Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers;
- Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs;
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned;
- Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required;
- Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel;
- Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel;
- Execute or perform any task or assignment that may be assigned by the superior;
- Records and monitors maintenance and replacement works done for tenants;
- Schedule daily work programmes for section team;
- Coordinates with Fit-Out, Leasing, and Safety departments on Megamall’s upgrading works and tenants’ fit-out works;
- Regular maintenance on Megamall’s common area to ensure all finishes are in good condition and minimize the time taken for breakdown replacement;
- Coordinates and supervises work done by contractors.
Requirements:
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service;
- Independent and possess good analytical skills;
- Experience in large shopping centres or business complexes have an added advantage;
- Ability to organize and coordinates any events and preparing schedule;
- Ability to work on their own;
- Easily adapting to change of demand and requests;
- Positive attitude;
- Previous experience in a management role;
- Able to communicate clearly to any level of people;
- Physically fit to carry out the job as hands-on is needed;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering.
