Our company is looking for a junior it technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation of LT routers and Wi-Fi routers;
- Responsible for network setup & diagnostics;
- Assisting with outbound calls as well as remote assistance;
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. Responsible for LAN cabling with the knowledge of topology (Ethernet);
- Responsible for the installation of hardware and software.
Requirements:
- Diploma in IT or equivalent;
- Firewalls experience;
- Three years’ experience;
- Experience in wireless networking;
- High interpersonal capabilities;
- 2 + years IT Experience;
- Have a positive, caring attitude and treat clients and colleagues with respect at all times;
- Grade 12 (Matric);
- Willing to invest time to learn Complex systems;
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle essential;
- Experience in Hospitality IT;
- Experienced in helpdesk and remote support environments;
- Ability to work independently;
- Fluent communications in English;
- High drive to learn and implement new and innovative approaches and solutions.
