Our company is looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comparative analysis of potential suppliers;
- Maintain and Review Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving Records;
- Negotiate with Suppliers on Behalf of Employer;
- Analyzing financial and budget reports to determine negotiation budget;
- Evaluate Suppliers;
- Work Out Logistical Agreements with Suppliers;
- Building relationships with potential suppliers and other industry professionals at trade shows;
- Negotiating financial and logistical details with suppliers;
- Using organization skills to maintain meticulous purchasing, shipping, and receiving records;
- Maintain records of purchased products, deliver information and invoices to cost controller;
- Evaluate vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports with Cost Controller;
- Ensure proper storage;
- Compare and evaluate offers;
- Review quality of purchased products;
- Reseearch potential vendors.
Requirements:
- Experience in Purchasing;
- Supervisory and management experience;
- A thorough understanding of the supply chain;
- Communication skills;
- At least 3 years experience in purchasing;
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel);
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent;
- organizing and planning;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts;
- Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems;
- Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred;
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent;
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
