Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and ensure they conform to professional standards at all times;
  • Follow SOP’s and adapt as changes are made – Constant training. Provide a supportive roll, guide, mentor and lead by example.

Requirements:

  • Excellent guest relations;
  • Basic accounting skills;
  • Drivers licence essential;
  • No Children permitted;
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial post within a 5* establishment with good management skills;
  • Single status applicants only;
  • Understand HR with disciplinary requirements and able to act accordingly;
  • Front office experience including reservations with good administrational skills;
  • Interest in food and wine knowledge;

  • Keen eye – Eye for detail – I cannot express this enough;
  • Computer literate – knowledge of Semper would be most welcome;
  • Understanding maintenance and be able to think out the box should an issue arrive;
  • Discipline, neat and well presented;
  • Physically fit and able to attend to bush functions – Sleep outs, bush dining.
