Responsibilities:

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments;
  • Service and Manage existing customer base,
  • Search out and report on internal and external threats to sales or profitability,
  • Achievements of monthly sales and gross margin budgets,
  • Actively identify and attain new business opportunities,
  • Increase current business and customer base,
  • Attend and contribute to sales/ branch meeting as required,
  • Monitor and analyse customers spend patterns in order to develop, action and maintain strategies,
  • Motivate, assist and direct Internal Sales,
  • Maintain contact with customer of national importance if necessary,

Requirements:

  • Must be technically minded;
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas;
  • Experience in the thermo plastic and water industry – crucial;
  • Must be computer literate (Excel / Email / MS Office);
  • Must be time driven and attention to detail orientated;
  • Proven track record of New Business Development;
  • Must have own vehicle;
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements;
  • Minimum 2 years Industry related external sales experience;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
