Our company is looking for a Night Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees end of day function in hotel and ensures accuracy of revenue reports;
  • Most senior person at hotel from 10:30 pm to 07:30am;
  • Actively promote room upgrades;
  • Provides night audit reports as requested;
  • Professional handling of guest enquiries;
  • Ensures a friendly welcome and check-in and checkout in line with brand standards;
  • Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required;
  • Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards;
  • Represent the Hotel Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel;
  • Conduct Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks, and maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas;
  • Compile adequate handover to Early staff / Duty Manager;
  • Conduct annual and mid-year Appraisals with Team Members;
  • Manage, record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise;
  • Serve as a point of contact for regular and VIP Guests;
  • Complete Night Audit duties.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Computer knowledge required. Experience with;
  • Ability to main positive attitude when handling all situations;
  • Natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service;
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Fluency in English both written and oral;
  • Strong decision making skills and a positive Yes I Can service attitude;
  • Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail;
  • Excellent grooming standards;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High level of IT proficiency;
  • Accountable and resilient;
  • Previous experience with Front Office Management Systems.
