The Brasserie is an award-winning 80-seat fine dining restaurant on Grand Cayman with a fantastic reputation for its farm-to-table cuisine. Adjoining the restaurant is an upscale bistro-style market and coffee shop, an outdoor juice bar, and a quick, casual, open-air, fire grill BBQ.

Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, the Reservations & Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of reservations and events within the restaurant and associated outlets. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating events, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

Receive and manage restaurant reservations through various channels (phone, email, online platforms, etc.)
Maintain an organized reservation system and ensure accurate recording of reservations.
Allocate seating and optimize table turnover for maximum restaurant efficiency.
Manage special requests and preferences for guests.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee events such as parties, receptions, and corporate functions hosted at the restaurant and within Cricket Square.
Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, including menu selections, decorations, seating arrangements, and entertainment options.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of events, including FOH, BOH, the maintenance team, and event suppliers.
Handle all other catering requests.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction during reservations and events.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to ensure business growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
Manage administrative tasks related to reservations and events, such as paperwork, contracts, invoicing, and payments.
Assist the service staff in a host/maître d position during the busy hours of the day.

The successful candidate will:

Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in reservations management, event planning, or a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Be proficient in reservation management software and event planning tools.

Be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work under high pressure.
