Gain exposure to production operations , process safety, and plant performance monitoring.
Understand methanol production processes , including utilities and offsite systems.
Develop skills in data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting for operational efficiency.
Assist in daily plant monitoring : record operating parameters, analyze trends, and report deviations.
Participate in start-up/shutdown activities under supervision.
Observe and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical equipment.

Collect and analyze process data to identify energy-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Support root cause analysis for minor process upsets or equipment failures.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.

Attend weekly safety sharing sessions and contribute to hazard identification exercises.
Assist in risk assessments and permit-to-work documentation for maintenance activities.
Learn and apply HSE standards in daily tasks.

Collaborate with the lab team on sampling and analysis of methanol and by-products.
Understand quality specifications and how they impact production decisions.
Participate in small improvement projects , e.g., reducing waste or optimizing chemical usage.
Support documentation updates for ISO or internal audits.

Prepare weekly progress reports for the supervisor.
Deliver a final presentation summarizing learning outcomes and project contributions.
Interns must adhere to confidentiality agreements and company rules.
Expected to engage with cross-functional teams (Production, Technical Services, HSE).
May assist in digitalization initiatives (data entry into plant monitoring systems).
